Blog language : This has not totally been created by me, but amassed and collected over time.
Bloggability – Measurement of any given event or occurrence and its likely hood of appearing in Blog form
Bloggademic – Heinously flowery, difficult to grasp, niche market ramblings from Bloggers with big brains and too much time on their hands
Bloggality – A recognisable form and content across a number of entries, ” I like his bloggality, don’t you?”
Blogganoia – That unnerving feeling that someone somewhere is Blogging about you
Bloggasm – Tense, exciting Blog that reaches a crescendo then fades away messily and turns it’s back on you.
Bloggazoids – Bloggers of great intellectual capacity but little empathy leading to cases of Bloglag
Blogbubo – Any section of Blog that is cut and paste into any other virtual space by an unknown or known other....
Blogcamp – Any given Blog entry that has more than its fair share of ! or contains oooooohhhh or ahhhhhhh with far too many a’s or o’s.
Blogcentric – Any entry that Blogs about a previous Blog
Blogciousness – Knowing you haven’t Blogged for a while and berating yourself for it, “To be in a state of Blogciousness”
Blogdeath – The termination of any given Blog for whatever reason
Blogderful – Warm glow from a particular good Blogging experience
Blogular – Interminable ongoing Blog
Blogdrag that always holds out promise for tomorrows entry but never quite delivers
Bloggease – Ability to use these words with others who understand them
Bloggecules – Individual snippets of Blog that inhabit cyberspace and have never been read by anyone anywhere.
Blogeen – Ramblings of adolescents, often pathetic, usually Blogideous and with no Blogality. Blogger does not understand Blogability and is far from a Blogademic.
Blogsturbation is a given with multiple Blogasms as a result
Blogideous – Garish backgrounds, unwanted sounds and other clutter make a Blog unreadable. “This Blog is blogideous”
Blogily – Incestuous back patting by a group of four or less Bloggers who’s Blogs are all crap and who also have no friends.
Blogiotics – The art of interpreting Blog entries with your own hidden agenda be it conscious or unconscious.
Blogish – Any sentence with three or more of the words on this list as part of its structure either spoken or written.
Blogites – Any given group of Bloggers in a real location who are aware that they all Blog but don’t particularly like each other.
Blogittus – The condition that causes you to pester other people to Blog .
Bloglag – The gradual loss of readers through too many stupid posts
Blogonites written by strange and unusual methods
Blogazoids who should have kept it simple easy to understand .
BlogsyBloglins – Any given group of Bloggers in a real location who are aware that they all Blog and who get on famously
Blogme – to limit the number of words you can use in any given Blog, the layout is specifically restrained and colour choices limited, akin to the Dog me manifest of film making this activity is supposed to promote creativity and imagination.
Bloggnog – Bloggers with a huge ego and no sense of perspective who don’t even get the hint when no one reads they're post's
Bloggnoxious – any activity by an individual/organisation/the state designed to curtail
Blogging
Bloggodile – A nasty comment (that has real teeth in a slanderous or liable way) directed at anyone. May cause Blognoxiousness to occur.
Blognoxiousness severely caustic attitude defined in comments or references to.
Blogoff – Their general response to your incessant mutterings that they should Blog
Blogoidance – to not read a Blog with the deliberate intent of offending someone who expects you to do so.
Bloggoids – Any given group of Bloggers in a real location who are unaware that they all Blog or actual hemeroids obtained from frequent blogging.
Blogonite – a particular tough Blog entry that no matter how much you try you cant understand a bloody word (See Blogademic)
Bloggority – A Sorority of Bloggers
Bloggpiracy – To pass an others Blog entry off as your own
Blogportant – A vital and very important Blog
Bloggereatric – Bloggers of pensionable age
Blogsection – The small amount of scrolling that everyone must do to read the last few lines of an entry.
Blogsplit – An argument between two or more Bloggers
Blogsprog – A website born from a Blog that has a small but cultish following
Blogster – A reader who reads many Blogs, never comments and has no Blogs himself
Blogstump – an unfinished entry that only last minutes as being unfinished, because the Blogger was distracted. In this fleeting time at least one other has viewed the entry and entirely misinterpreted the meaning. (See Bloggiotics)
Blogstumps are rare but effective stupidifications
Blogsturbation – Far too much activity with blogging actions
Blogcentric Absolutely eccentric behaviour
Blogaviod Short entry that is designed to avoid noticing the enevitable loss of writing skills
Blogswift one that may give the false impression of attaining Blogular status
Blogular a constant and regular blog constantly updated
Bloggswot – To over analyse any given entry
Blogsy – Simply written, easily understand much appreciated brain fart candy from any given Blogger
Blogtroversial – Any passion inflaming Blog that upsets at least three people or more. with multiple comment backed returns
Blogular -7 days continuous Blogging with a common thread is said to be Bloggular.
Bloggularity – Knowing the address of any given Blog off by heart
Bloggulation – To cut off a Bloggers oxygen by not responding to any post or comment he makes is to carry out the act of Bloggulation.
Blogasylum Also know as being sent to the writers insane asylum
Bloggvestite – A mans Blog that's too pretty or written as a womans or visaversa Blog that is too butch
Blogvoid – any single Blog period of 24 hrs with no entry at all
Blogxtra – A piece of Blog so good it requires extra e-mails to be sent to remind all those friends who promised to keep up with your Blog to please do so......
Blogplop – Any word in any Blog that is misspelled but makes another word which cause the whole Blog to be laughable, these often become Bloggbubos
Blogsecution – Anonymous and nasty comments from a Blogtwit ment as an executionable offence or offensive in more ways than one
Blogtwit – Stupid individuals who judge Bloggers purely on what they say and never get to know them before launching a text assault, most usually anonymous
Blogwobbler – Tirade written when drunk or pissed that is later regretted and deleted by the Blogger who is praying it hasn’t become a Bloggbubo
blammer = blog spammer
doppleblogger = a content scraping blogger (goes with doppleblog) All materials compiled as here were content scraped from many variable places and compiled for a quick reference . rather than many variable page references :)
Flog- A portmanteau of “fake” and “blog”. A blog that’s ghostwritten by someone, such as in the marketing department.

Weblog- An online dated diary listing your periodic thoughts on a specific topic, often in reverse chronological order.
Blog – short form for web log
Blogging - the act of posting on blogs
Blogger - a person who blogs
Blogosphere - The internet blogging community
BLOGGING FORMS
Photo blogging - a blog predominantly using and focusing on photographs and images. Photoblogs are created by photobloggers
Podcasting - a method of distributing multimedia files (audio / videos) online using feeds for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. Podcasts are created by podcasters.
Autocasting - is an automated form of podcasting
Blogcasting - the blog and the podcast merged into a single website.
Vlogging - Also called video blogging. Shortened to vlog. Posted by vlogger. A variant on the blogging using video instead of text.
Audioblogging - Also called audioblog, MP3 blog or musicblogs. a variant on the blogging using audio instead of text. Created by audioblogger.
Moblogging - Also called moblogs. A blog posted and maintained via mobile phone. Moblogs are created by mobloggers.
BLOG COMPONENTS AND FUNCTIONS
Index page – the front page for the blog
Header - the topmost part of the blog usually listing the blog title.
Footer - the most bottom part of the blog usually listing navigation and copyright statements
Sidebar - One or more columns along one or both sides of most blogs main page
Categories - A collection of topic specific posts
Post, Entry- individual articles that make up a blog
Comments - enabling readers to leave their remarks
Captcha - short for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans
Apart”. Those word and letter verification images you need to type in to show you are human and not a bot. Helpful to block automated spam comments.
Ping – Short for Packet Internet Grouper. Blog and ping helps to notify other blog tracking tools for updates, changes and trackbacks.
Trackback - A system by which a ping is sent to another blog to notify that their article has been mentioned by you
Pingback - See trackback.
Permalink - A link to a specific article
Tags - labelling / attaching keywords to collect similar posts
Tag cloud – Displaying tags lists or keywords in a blog.
Blogroll - list of links to other blogs in your sidebar. Also see blogrolling.com
Sideblog - A smaller blog usually placed in the sidebar of a blog.
Template - the blog presentation design
BlogThis - a function allows a blogger to blog the entry they a reading
Plugins - Small files that add improved functionality and new features. Wordpress plugins can greatly improve your blog usage and interactivity
Dashboard - When you login to your blogging account, it is the first screen with all controls, tools and functions.
Archives – a collection of all your posts on one page. Can be categorized by month etc.
Expandable post summaries – show a small teaser part of the post on the index page that link to the full post.
Jump – the continuation of a the story on another page to preserve space on index page.
FTP - short for file transfer protocol. Transferring file to and fro from your web host using FTP tools like Filezilla
WEB FEEDS
Web Feed – allows online users to subscribe to websites that change or add content regularly.
RSS - a family of web feed formats used for Web syndication. Short form for Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0), Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0), RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0). Wordpress generates RSS 2.0
XML - short for eXtensible Markup Language. a general-purpose markup language for syndication formats used on blogs.
RDF - short for Resource Description Framework. A web content syndication format.
Atom - another specific web feed format. Blogger feeds are usually of this type.
OPML – short for Outline Processor Markup Language. It is an XML format for outlines. Easily import and export multiple blog subscriptions between different rss aggregators.
Photofeed- a web feed with image enclosures.

Blogger - a free blogging platform by Google.
Blogspot - free Blogger hosting blog at name.blogspot.com
LiveJournal - free blogging tool by SixApart
Movable Type – paid blogging tool by SixApart

Wordpress.org- Free. Easy to Upload, customize and upgrade.
Wordpress.com – A Wordpress blog hosted free for you.

Splog- a spam blog

Metablog – a blog about blogging.
Milblog - a military blog.
Blawg – blogged by lawyer / related to legal stuff

Blogorific = blogtastic – something which a blogger says is terrific
Blogsit - maintaining a blog while the primary blogger is on leave
Blogvertising - Also called blogvert. Advertising on a blog.
Blurker - a blog reader not posting comments, just lurking around quietly.
Blogathon - update your website every 30 minutes for 24 hours straight. Maybe to collect

Commenter - someone who leaves remarks / comments

Linkbaiting - a habit of writing good content with the sole purpose of getting it linked from multiple sites.
Blogstorm – a large amount of blogosphere activity due to particular controversy. Also called Blog Swarm.
Blogsnob – refusing to respond to blog comments from “not-friends”.
Doppelblogger – plagiarize the content of another blogger. To Doppelblog.
Blogophobia – Fear of blogs and blogging.
Bloggerel – the same opinion posted repeatedly on a blog
